SNAPDEAL IS HERE TO SHAKE OFF YOUR DEMONETISATION WOES

Among a few establishments that have actually put up efforts to make things better for the public after the government's demonetisation move took quite a chaotic turn, e- commerce business Snapdeal has come up with an idea that has got your back during these tough times.

Snapdeal has launched a new service called Cash@Home, which allows people to order cash and get it delivered right at their doorstep. Calling it a goodwill gesture, Snapdeal has stated that the service aims at helping users to avoid queuing up outside ATMs and evade the hassles in banks.

There are some guidelines, though. The service, which is a cash on delivery service, limits the amount of money that can be ordered per booking to Rs. 2000. A nominal fees of Re. 1 is charged to the users. Also, the service is available only to app users, who simply have to swipe their cards at the time of delivery.

However, being in its initial phase, the Cash@Home service is available for people living in Gurugram (Gurgaon) and Bengaluru for the time being. Based on the feedback the service receives, Snapdeal will look forward to extend its availability to other major areas. The availability of notes is another factor, of course, that would decide the extension of the service.
