Christopher Nolan has surfaced yet again over the world, this time with an epic war film which is a retelling of a significant event in the history of humanity. The first trailer of the film has been released, and it looks as promising as anything from Nolan would appear.
Dunkirk, which has been written, directed and produced by Christopher Nolan, is set to release on July 21, 2017. The film is a cinematic narration of the Dunkirk evacuation of 1940, during World War II.
As is typical with Nolan's films, Dunkirk too might focus on the psychological aspect of war, besides surreal war scenes that give the viewer a glimpse of reality.
“Dunkirk” features a stellar cast, including Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, and Cillian Murphy. It also has new comer Fionn Whitehead in its ensemble cast which also includes Aneurin Barnard, Harry Styles, James D’Arcy, Jack Lowden, Barry Keoghan, and Tom Glynn-Carney.
