With a whacky new villain in town (or, rather, on the ocean), Gru and Lucy have yet another mission in their hands, which, as seen in the trailer, doesn't end very well for Gru. But, wait! Where are the minions? Well, watch for yourself as the little, yellow imps turn the heat up at
a beach party!
The third installation of the much popular Despicable Me series has been directed by Kyle Balda, Pierre Coffin, and Eric Guillon, with Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul handling the screenplay.
It stars Steve Carell as Gru, Kristen Wiig as Lucy Wilde, Miranda Cosgrove as Margo, Dana Gaier as Edith, Nev Scharrel as Agnes, Trey Parker as Balthazar Bratt, Russell Brand as Dr. Nefario, Andy Nyman as Clive, Pierre Coffin as several minions and Michael Beattie as The Scar-Faced Man.
The film will hit the theatres on June 30, 2017.
